Who is JoJo, and what is he like?
Jody (aka JoJo) is a laid-back mid-thirties guy who was born in Idaho to a military Father and an English Mother. Jody grew up in the UK for most of his childhood as a punk rocking, skateboarding, gaming, and traveling type of guy. He speaks his mind (direct), is very straightforward (no games), honest, caring, and tries to keep things simple. Jody is pretty sarcastic (keep reading and find out), and often leans on humor. Jody is a US Air Force veteran, community volunteer, husband, and father. He will always conduct himself with integrity, honesty, and patience. Essentially, you set the tone with him. This is precisely why Jody (among most other photographers) utilizes contracts to ensure clarity in expectations. If a contract is broken, Jody will not hesitate to remind anyone of contract expectations… Clients should do the same at any time. Don’t be afraid to ask Jody questions, he will be straight with you, we just ask that you read the rest of these FAQs before you do.
A little more about Jody here: JODY
What are your prices?
If you are reading this question seriously curious about prices, you are reading the most asked (and most annoying) question due to the prices being on this very website, pinned on our Facebook, Instagram, and even YouTube. Here’s a link to the prices for you: PRICES
Wedding Package prices are here: Wedding Packages
Printing Prices here: Print Price List
Pricing is on the title banner at the top of our Facebook page… and EVERYWHERE else. We have put our prices on a silver platter for you. We can only spoon-feed you for so long.
If you have come to us for a service purely based on our price, please know that we would rather you value our trade and abilities over our price.
**We can tell when you come to us purely based on price**
Do you do passport photos?
No, we don't. With places like Walgreens and CVS offering them for about $10, it's challenging for us to compete and make it worthwhile, especially considering the costs of running a studio. However, if you have more specific photography needs, we are here to help!
Are you LGBTQIA+ friendly?
At JoJo's Foto's Photography, I am committed to providing a friendly, respectful, and professional experience for all clients, regardless of their background or walk of life. Everyone deserves to feel valued and respected, and I strive to ensure that all clients enjoy a positive and welcoming environment during their photography sessions.
JoJo seems to be answering short, is he being a jerk?
No, JoJo is not being a jerk at all. He leads a busy life, working a full-time job with random rotating shifts defending our nation. On top of that, he has a toddler at home and receives numerous inquiries from potential clients like yourself. There are times when JoJo is occupied with his responsibilities, whether it's his job, photography work, or even resting due to overnight shifts.
We kindly ask for your understanding and patience, as life can be challenging and demanding. JoJo's wife is a school teacher and also has her own commitments. Rest assured, we will provide you with the necessary information to address your needs. While there may be instances where our responses are concise, there are also times when we can engage in more detailed and personable conversations online. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Your prices are too high, what if I want to go to a cheaper photographer around here?
The only thing high around here are the people who think we don’t look around at the competing prices and quality levels (what are you guys smoking?)
We are generally cheaper than most, AND our quality is much higher than others. We have one of the highest “bang for buck” factors in the area. Two local big-name photographers have toyed with the idea of employing JoJo to work for them. No joke… So go, go to the teenager that got the $200 “nice camera” (there may be one or two keepers there, IF you’re lucky). You will be missing out on so many luxuries, comforts, EXPERIENCE, and will ultimately be disappointed.
With this said, there is NOTHING wrong with using a young aspiring person that wants to give it a go. We were all there once… We are just saying, it won’t be as good. JoJo’s Foto’s knows our worth, and we will not be ripped off, just like you won’t be.
Wanting to book a 15-minute session?
Our 15-minute sessions come with a few caveats:
They are sold "as-is" without any discounts, including military/first responder discounts.
15-minute sessions cannot be scheduled during the golden hour (sunset time).
The location for your session depends on any full-priced sessions scheduled that evening.
If no full-priced session is scheduled, the options are Mexico Beach, Beach Drive, or St. Andrew's State Park.
Consider upgrading to a 30-minute session for the full experience.
There you have it, the essential details about our 15-minute sessions.
What is the turnaround time for me to get my photos?
3 days for family sessions. 1 month for wedding packages. Do people sometimes get their photos sooner? Sure. It’s based on available time to edit. As stated in our contract, if something has come up in our personal lives to prolong the delivery date, you will be notified and communicated with regularly. Find anyone who can beat our turnaround time.
Do you have a photo studio?
Nope, we don't have a photo studio. Why? Well, nobody ever asks for indoor photos around here, so having a studio would be a waste of money. We prefer to keep things debt-free and avoid paying rent. So, no fancy building for us.
We CAN, however, rent a studio for a period of time if you are interested in covering those costs. We cannot quote them as they are always changing due to inflation, but it’s not a lot and nothing in comparison to your shoot.
What is a photography contract, and why do I need it?
A photography contract is a document that specifically defines the “what, where, when, and how” of expectations for both the photographer AND the client. Both parties have to maintain expectations within the contract parameters or else trust will be broken. Communication is key, but it is ultimately important to take time and READ what is expected rather than just winging it.
Here’s the current contract verbiage: Contract
Are the photos we receive watermarked?
No, the photos you receive from us are not watermarked. We believe that watermarks can cheapen the appearance of the images and serve no real purpose other than to convey desperation.
We trust that if you love our work, value our contract, and appreciate our artistry, you will naturally promote us through word of mouth.
Why is the contract so long?
We’d love for it to be short, but EVERYBODY is different, and different people have different expectations… some annotated and mentioned, some NOT… THIS is when things get difficult for both parties, and NONE of us want to have any difficulties. The contract states CLEARLY, EVERYTHING JoJo’s Foto’s has experienced thus far, and until something different happens, there will be more clauses. We are trying to help you (and us) know what to expect from each other while avoiding any surprises (if we can help it).
If you are looking to try and find loopholes, we applaud you for reading the contract, because MOST DON’T, but if you try, it will not be a pleasant experience for either of us, and you will ultimately be blacklisting yourself (from us AND other photographers, we talk) and making things LONGER for other potential clients.
What is a retainer, and do I have an appointment if I have not paid one?
The quick answer is right here: Booking Info.
You don’t talk about hiring a lawyer and then expect them to show up in court, right? Well, the same for photographers on location.
Basically, you have to sign a contract AND pay for a retainer to have an appointment.
Retainers are 50% of the total package cost and are NOT refundable. So if you’re serious about photos, let’s commit to this and not beat around the bush.
How do we reschedule?
So long you contact us more than 24 hours before your shoot, we can help you… But if you try to do this within that time (or God forbid) at the booking time, you will not only lose your retainer, but also $100 from your debit/credit card for inconvenience/gas/time/family separation (yes, I miss dinner with my family).
Do you allow bookings on holidays?
We do, but that’s subjective. We are NOT doing sessions on major holidays such as Christmas/Thanksgiving/Independence Day (unless you throw your wallet at us), but minor holidays are ok with an added holiday fee of $100.
How do I book?
Booking is simple! We now have a new automated way to book yourself and get on the calendar while also paying for service retainer. You can do that right over there >>>>>
We have a large group of people, what are your group rates?
8-12 People- $50.00
13-20 People- $100.00
21 or more People- $200.00
Ah, the joys of dealing with a larger group. It's like orchestrating a symphony, except the musicians keep playing different tunes (blinking lol). We love the challenge of managing multiple personalities and making sure everyone looks their best. And hey, the extra editing time gives us more opportunities to practice our magic skills. So, yes, there's a small fee for the pleasure of capturing your whole crew in all their glorious chaos. Trust us, it's worth it.
Should I ignore the photographer and only reach out when I need something?
No way! Ignoring us and popping up only when you need something? That's not cool, my friend. According to good old clause 8 in our contract, we've got to keep the communication flowing—clear, concise, correct, and CONSISTENT. Imagine if we played hard to get with your inquiries. How would that make you feel? Yeah, not so great, right?
We've both got a 24-hour response time, 2 hours on the day of the shoot. And hey, let's be real, we've got all kinds of gadgets these days—computers, phones, even those ancient landlines. So there's really no excuse for leaving each other hanging. We promise we won't do it to you, so please don't do it to us. And if you're gonna disappear for a while, just give us a heads up, okay? It's all about managing expectations, my friend.
Now, we hear you saying, "But JoJo, I'm a busy nurse!" Well, let us share a little secret—JoJo is a full-time random rotating shift worker in the military, dealing with a whole bunch of (potential) clients and rocking those photo shoots like a boss. No excuses, no siree! So let's both make an effort to keep the lines of communication wide open. Deal?
Remember, we're a team, and staying connected is key. Together, we'll make this photo journey a smooth and enjoyable one.
How do I know what time to book for sunset?
You got this! Google is our friend. All you have to do is look up the sunset time of the day you would like to book here>> SUNSET TIMES. Once you find out when the sun sets (goes down under the horizon) on your preferred date, you want to book the session length to start before the sun set time. For example, if sunset is at 6.35pm and you want a 30min session, book at 6pm, and we’re golden (literally).
Where do we go for our photoshoot?
When you start your booking process, it will eventually give you a list of options for locations, along with Google tag links and brief descriptions of each.
Here’s what you will see:
St. Andrew's State Park PIER (East side- least populated; small entrance fee)- Click Here for Google Maps Location

Other Location (Please elaborate to your photographer in the “notes” section)
“But what if we want you somewhere else?” Whoa easy there sailor, we will get to that in the next FAQ.
What if I want you to COME TO US?
This can get complicated. YES, we can come to you, but there are many things to take into factor.
1. Do you have parking squared away for your photographer?
2. Is it further away than the photographer normally goes? Are you prepared to compensate for time/gas?
3. Did you annotate the google-maps tag link of where you want your photographer to go in your booking? Specifically in the NOTES section?
Relative follow on question
30A Photo Session?
According to overreaching Walton county law, photographers must apply and PAY for a permit e.g. Alys beach is approx. $1400 and Rosemary beach is approx. $750. Unless you are the OWNER of a property within the county away from the confines of “private developments” and their security guards, we cannot accommodate you. The closest locations on the border of Walton county are Camp Helen St. Park, or Laguna Beach which are on the Bay County side.
Will my photos all look as amazing as the ones on this website?
Maybe… maybe not. The biggest factor in your awesome photos is the weather. JoJo is not a weatherman, but he is a great photographer that can take photos in any condition (even the rain) and make them look good… But with this said, not every cloud formation is the same, nor is the lighting. Here’s a link about rain during photoshoots>> Whatchu Mean Rain?
Another huge factor is PEOPLE. Are there kids that aren’t feeling it? Shoot, are there adults not feeling it? Is there a chronic blinker in the group? Maybe you were late to your shoot and now you’re grumpy. We cannot control everything, but we do our best to make your session as fun and relaxing as possible.
Another factor is HAIR. Yes you read that right… It is ALWAYS windier on the beach. Ladies (or guys LOL), Aquanet that hair, clip it down, and grab some hair ties before your session… We are not responsible for the wind, or your hair.
All of JoJo’s Foto’s seem really “dark, and don’t show the real light of the sunset, why is that?”
Well, that is because JoJo shoots in his own style using “off camera flash (OCF)”, and it is a certain style unlike the many inexperienced “I’m only a natural light photographer” folks. As a matter of fact, with JoJo’s style, you actually see the REAL light of the sunset rather than being “blown out” or too bright if he didn’t do what he does. If you want to see JoJo’s “natural light” or “light and airy” shots, just look below. ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE!
**DO NOT ask us to shoot in natural light and then be frustrated with natural light issues, such as sun flares, light color, star bursts, or drop shadows etc. You asked for it, and that’s what you get. Why would you ask us to change our style just to be unhappy with what you asked for?**
I really want to capture the colors of the beach, I’m just not convinced.
I went back in my files to 2021 (it’s 2023 presently), and found a “test shot” that was too bright to show the colors in the background, so I edited it to get that “fairy magic princess” (as I call it) coloring that drives some ladies WILD!
NEWS FLASH!!! It’s fake. Check it out.
I CAN do it, it’s just not my style.
What if I don’t like the cloud formations on our booking? Can we just reschedule when we want?
We want you to be happy, but we cannot guarantee certain weather, cloud formations, lighting, or even certain colors. Due to us having a busy schedule and certain rules that we universally follow, we cannot reschedule based on personal preferences that are outside of our control, ESPECIALLY last minute. Severe and/or inclement weather is our only way of rescheduling based on weather (depending on availability). We could have booked an indoor session during your time, and we are not here to waste your time, or ours.
Should I touch base with JoJo before/during/after booking myself?
Preferably before, but any of the other options are fine. During or after is better than not at all. It is important to establish rapport and put ourselves at ease and gain confidence while moving forward.
What should we wear (or not wear)?
What to wear? That’s subjective. Wear what you want. Things that are good: pastels, earth tones, florals, whites, blacks, or even polka-dots.
What NOT to wear? Stripes (gals, they make you think that you look bigger than you are, don’t do that), fluorescents, clothing with words/logos (they are distracting), or even clashing colors/tones with other people in the shot.
Lastly, if there's a particular body trait you'd rather downplay, we suggest avoiding clothing that draws attention to that specific area. Instead, choose outfits that highlight your favorite features and make you feel fabulous from head to toe.
I would like photos taken at our condo beach, can you do that?
Sure! Can you guarantee us that people won’t photobomb your session? There are hundreds or thousands of condos per resort and everyone and their sweethearts are out on the beach for sunset. Chair/umbrella rental companies will be in the background, as well as people’s gazebos/tents/shades etc. Space is limited.
As for parking, it is your responsibility to ensure us legal parking arrangements. We recommend checking with the condo management or exploring nearby parking options to secure a suitable spot. These are things to think about.
I haven’t heard from JoJo in a while and our appointment is coming up, what should I do?
We understand that waiting for a response can be frustrating, but rest assured that JoJo is a busy dude who values his clients. If you haven't heard from him in a while and your appointment is approaching, we encourage you to reach out and touch base. Communication is key, and JoJo will appreciate your proactive approach. He usually reaches out the day before your session or early on the day of.
If you feel like something may have slipped through the cracks, don't hesitate to remind him. He's only human and appreciates the reminder. There are multiple ways to get in touch with JoJo, so feel free to explore the various contact options provided on this website. Your satisfaction and a smooth experience are important to us, so don't hesitate to take the initiative and reach out.
What happens if there is inclement weather?
Good question. FIRST, book early in your vacation in case we have to slide your appointment to the right. Secondly, if there is bad weather we try and reschedule… If this is not possible, you have a year to use your retainer. You can even transfer your retainer to a friend as a gift!
Some see it as unfair, but we photographers hold your intended appointment for just you. We could have scheduled an indoor session elsewhere. The consultation time, processing fees incurred on the retainer transaction, the website that you are using, gallery service, other amenities you are utilizing, etc all cost money and time.
I don’t like my (fill in the blank), can JoJo fix it?
We understand that everyone has their own insecurities and concerns about certain aspects of their appearance. While minor adjustments and touch-ups can be made, it is important to manage your expectations. JoJo can certainly address small blemishes or imperfections, but significant alterations to your body shape or appearance are not realistic or feasible.
We encourage you to embrace your uniqueness and feel confident in your own skin. Remember, the purpose of photography is to capture moments and memories, celebrating who you are at that particular time. So, let's focus on highlighting your natural beauty and creating beautiful images that reflect your authentic self!
My family is huge, how many people are permitted for a session?
Normally JoJo allows a family of 6, but we all know that one family that’s like the Walton’s (google it, I’m old). Exceptions can be made. Just be upfront and honest… But for the love of Pete, do not pretend you have a small family and then bring all your 5th cousins and their step-turtles in on the action. Things can get out of control quickly, and we want to keep this simple. We may need you to get each smaller family partition to purchase a 30 minute session each, while ensuring each group of family is contracted individually. Besides, if we are contracted to one person in that large group, a lot of people may get ticked off when we aren’t taking demands from them because we do not have a contract with that certain individual. It gets out of control… Let’s keep it simple, and realistic.
The whole reasoning behind smaller groups is because controlling large crowds is NOT EASY, on top of getting EVERY PERSON’s eyes open and looking at the camera is almost impossible.
What types of payment do you accept?
Cash: The advantage of cash payments is that the transaction is fast and efficient, which is how business has always been done. You will not make any cash payments without documentation that a payment has been made.
Credit/Debit: JoJo's Foto's now accepts credit/debit cards! The preferred method is to utilize this in the booking link and finish with cash (if you have it) after your session.
Installments: We can set up installments for you leading up to your photoshoot… Layaway, in essence. To initiate a payment plan, please contact us. The only caveat is that your photos will not be edited or delivered until the final payment has been received.
Paypal / Venmo: We DO NOT accept PayPal/Venmo as a form of payment. PayPal/Venmo ALWAYS sides with the consumer no matter the situation, and with that said, if you wanted to, you could get a refund (no questions asked) after receiving your photos. We know YOU wouldn’t do that, but why make ourselves vulnerable to those who would? Rely on that contract, and everything will be okay.
But we can’t afford smaller sessions, what should we do?
Oh, the classic dilemma of wanting it all without breaking the bank! If you've planned to spend a fortune on accommodations, dining at all the hotspots, and indulging in beachside activities, it's understandable that your budget might be stretched thin. But why skimp on your photos? Fear not, we've got a brilliant solution for you!
Instead of waiting until the last minute and realizing you "can't afford" smaller sessions, why not plan ahead? Yes, that's right, a little thing called advanced planning can work wonders. Reach out to us well in advance, and we can work together to set up a convenient installment plan. It's like magic! By spreading out the payments over time, you'll be able to capture those precious family moments without feeling the financial pinch. Just think of it as a small investment in preserving memories that will last a lifetime. Who needs $60 Hand-Grenade beach-bar margaritas when you can have stunning photographs, right?
So, put those budgeting skills to work and get in touch with us early. We'll happily create a payment plan that suits your financial reality. Let the budget-friendly memories begin!
Speaking of family, can I bring my little puppy “Cupcake” to the beach?
Ah, Cupcake, the adorable furry family member (other than Aunt Edna). We absolutely adore pets and believe in capturing those special moments with them. However, when it comes to beach adventures with Cupcake, we need to follow the rules.
In Bay County, there are only two designated areas where you can bring dogs to frolic on the sandy shores. One option is Pier Park, which, let's be honest, can get pretty crowded with beach crowds (and potential photo-bombers). The other option is exploring water-lined sands outside of PCB, such as Beach Drive in Panama City. So, there are a couple of options, but they do come with their own considerations.
Now, if you have your heart set on including little Cupcake in your photo session, please let us know well in advance. This way, we can plan accordingly and make sure we choose a legal location for dogs. Plus, we'll come prepared with some doggy treats to keep Cupcake happy and engaged during the shoot.
Remember, it's essential to respect the local beach regulations and be considerate of other beachgoers. Surprise visits from unannounced furry friends (not including your Uncle Rico) may not go over well with the locals or maintain the trust of our agreement. In fact, such a breach of trust could lead to the termination of the session without a refund. So, let's avoid any ruffled feathers and ensure we have a pawsitively delightful and legal experience for everyone involved.
We are contracted for X number of photos, can we have more?
It depends.
Ah, the desire for more photos, we understand. However, the number of photos included in your contract is carefully determined to provide you with the best selection of high-quality images. Each photo goes through a meticulous process of curation and editing to ensure that you receive the best results.
While we strive to capture stunning moments, not every shot is a "keeper." Some shots may not meet our quality standards or may not have turned out as expected due to various factors. We want to deliver the best of the best to you.
Now, if you absolutely love the additional shots and can't resist the temptation for more, we can discuss the possibility of obtaining extra photos. However, please keep in mind that additional photos cost $20 each. We put a lot of effort into perfecting each image, and that effort deserves fair compensation.
So, if you have a particular request for additional photos, let us know, and we can explore the options together. We want you to have an unforgettable experience and cherished memories, but remember, quality and value are at the heart of what we do.
Other photographers offer more photos in their packages, why don’t you?
An easy answer and I know you will understand. Firstly, our prices aren’t as high as other photographers (less time working on editing and getting you your photos faster), so there’s that… and secondly, we use an off camera flash which has a delay in between shots to cycle its power, so we are more selective in shooting as opposed to a natural light photographer that will “spray and pray” and provide you 5million photos and never end editing. Since we have a fast turn around you get quality over quantity. Besides, who needs 500 photos? You’re only going to pick a few favorites, right? You know it makes sense.
Can I determine my own contract details?
Nope, sorry. The contract is like our favorite pair of jeans—one size fits all. We don't do custom tailoring here. It keeps things simple and avoids any "he said, she said" situations. Plus, we don't have the patience for a never-ending game of contract negotiations. Trust us, you'll find everything you need in that perfectly standardized contract. It's like the backbone of our photography business, holding everything together. So, let's just stick to what works, shall we?
Can I print my photos anywhere?
Certainly! We give you the green light to print your photos wherever you please. Your contract serves as your official print release.
Now, here's a word of caution: when it comes to printing, quality matters. We're not pointing fingers, but let's just say that certain establishments like Wal-Mart and Walgreens may not provide the level of care and expertise your precious photos deserve. We wouldn't want your masterpiece to be handled by a pimple-faced teen who's more interested in TikTok than your prints. So, consider seeking out professional printing services that will treat your photos with the respect they deserve.
How are my photos delivered?
Via pigeon carriers in the sky! Just kidding. Your photos are delivered in a modern and convenient way. We provide you with your very own online gallery via a link. Your gallery gives you access to a range of options: mark your favorite shots, order prints, convert images to black and white, easily share files, and download all your high-definition JPEGs directly to your smart device or computer. It's like having a personalized photo hub at your fingertips, without the hassle of the antiquated “pick a package of days old.
And guess what? JoJo's gallery partners with the finest printing lab in the nation. If you're curious about the quality, go ahead and order a few prints to see for yourself. Prepare to be impressed!
Can I edit my photos from JoJo?
No, editing the photos is not allowed as per the contract. And let's think about it, why would you hire a photographer and then take on the task of editing the photos yourself? It's like going to a fancy restaurant and bringing your own ingredients to cook the meal.
Besides, when you edit a photographer's work, it no longer represents their artistic vision. It's disrespectful, to be honest. Just remember that you don't own the copyright of the photos, so editing them is a big "no-no" (aka “not yours to play with”). As they say, "You can buy the Mona Lisa, but it doesn't make you the artist." Let JoJo's art shine as it is!
Should I book my session early or late in my vacation visit?
Absolutely book your session early during your vacation visit. That way, if by some strange twist of fate, the weather decides to throw a tantrum, we might be able to slide your appointment to a better day. Plus, going early means you'll have a lower chance of resembling a tomato due to sunburn, and let's be clear, the photographer takes zero responsibility for your overly crispy complexion. We're here to capture your smiles, not your red noses!
Does JoJo choose our photos, or do we?
JoJo takes the honor of choosing your photos. It's been this way since the beginning, and trust us, it's for the best.
We understand that you might want to have a say in the selection process, but let's face it, that would eat up a lot of precious beach time, and we don't want that for you.
JoJo has the eagle eyes and software prowess to pick out the absolute best shots—sharp, well-composed, and bursting with awesomeness. Plus, he can spot tiny details that you might miss.
So, while you sip on those refreshing hand grenade margaritas at the beach bar, let JoJo work his magic and deliver the crème de la crème of your beach memories. Cheers to that!
Do you shoot newborn/baby photo sessions?
We sure do! But here’s the thing, it’s not our niche. We have done many, and we will gladly continue to provide that, but what do most parents want us to provide? PROPS. Yes, props that we never use, take up storage space and cost us money… That we never use. You get the gist. If you want newborn photos, you provide the props.
Is it customary to tip your photographer?
Tipping is not mandatory, but it's certainly appreciated. Consider it as a way to show your appreciation for the photographer's hard work and dedication. Keep in mind that when you take care of your photographer, they'll go the extra mile for you.
While tips are not expected, they can make a significant difference for a veteran supporting his family.
Think about it this way: just like not tipping a waiter implies they did a poor job, a tip can signal that your photographer has exceeded your expectations. And hey, some clients even get creative with their tips, like one of our Wisconsin clients who tips us in delicious cheese curds. Yum!
Do you offer printing services?
We sure do! In your online gallery there is a “buy photo” option, and this will walk you through our online printing lab that sends you the best quality prints to your front door!
Or you can just go to Walgreens and get your photos printed by a pimple-faced teen who doesn’t care nor specialize in professional prints, and then you can leave us a 1-star review afterward. Don’t say we didn’t warn you LOL!
Do you edit our photos?
Absolutely! We take pride in editing your photos to enhance their overall quality and appearance. Our editing process involves adjusting exposure, shadows, highlights, contrast, and making minor retouches like removing blemishes or distractions. However, we don't believe in extensive Photoshop editing such as virtual makeup or weight loss alterations. Our goal is to preserve the natural look and authenticity of the images, capturing what we saw through our own eyes during the photo session.
It's worth mentioning that a significant portion of the “editing” is done during the actual photo session, using camera settings and off-camera flash lighting to achieve the desired results.
I “just want a few photos”, why does this all seem more complicated than I want it to be?
We get it, simplicity is key! But let's face it, life can be a bit complicated sometimes, even when it comes to getting a few photos. That's why we have the contract in place to keep things clear and avoid any "he said, she said" moments later on. Plus, who doesn't love some official paperwork to make you feel all grown up?
But don't worry, we'll guide you through the process and make it as painless as possible. Just remember, if you're looking for some basic photos, your trusty smartphone can do the trick too. It's like the Swiss Army knife of photography, always there when you need a quick snapshot. But if you want that extra oomph and professional touch, we've got you covered.
Speaking of dialog, should I listen to the advice of my photographer, or should I rush in making demands?
If you are hiring us as professionals, you should take heed to our advice (listen to our input, just like we do with you). Remember, we do this all the time, and we also live here. So if you want us at your condo but don’t want to take our advice about crowds there, but then complain about crowds in your photos, is that our fault? Again, back to the contract, please read your contract.
When is the final payment due?
Let's break it down for you: the retainer gets us to show up, and the final payment gets you your beautifully edited photos. Without the final payment, we can't work our magic and deliver those amazing shots you're eagerly waiting for. So, remember to check Clause 5 of the contract for the payment deadline, because if you miss it, it's like pretending our session never happened. And trust us, you don't want that.
We're here to capture your precious moments and create memories that last a lifetime, not be debt collectors.
